Carson Shepherd

Carson Shepherd has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Beginning in 2013, Carson worked as a Campaign Coordinator for KadyAnn Davy for Fayetteville City Council, where they handled correspondence, oversaw volunteer scheduling, and built relationships with public officials and community members.

In 2014, Carson joined the College Democrats of North Carolina as the Women's Caucus Chair, responsible for organizing advocacy events and conducting canvassing initiatives to support Democratic women running for office.

Carson also gained legislative experience as a Senior Legislative Intern and House of Representatives Intern for the North Carolina General Assembly. In these roles, Carson researched legislation, communicated with constituents, and managed office files.

In 2015, Carson took on multiple positions at NC State University, including Division of Academic and Student Affairs Administration Assistant, where they provided administrative support and managed university records. They also served as Chief of Staff for the Student Government Executive Cabinet, overseeing operations and implementing efficiency initiatives.

Carson continued to expand their professional experience by working as a Keyholder at Cup A Joe in 2016 and as a Camarero at Brewery Bhavana from 2017 to 2020.

In 2019, Carson became a Barista at Benchwarmers Bagels, and in 2021, they transitioned to the tech industry as a Sales Development Representative at Levitate. They quickly progressed into roles such as Account Executive, Support Specialist, and currently holds the position of Senior Product Support Specialist.
