LEVO invented the standing wheelchair in 1976 and has since then a leading role in the the standing wheelchair market. The company is based in Wohlen, Switzerland and develops and assembles her high quality mobility solutions there. Products are sold in 40 countries all over the world.

In 2007 LEVO was aquired by Dane Technologies, based in Brooklyn Park, MN, USA.
