Allyson Mather

Allyson Mather is a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience in point-of-care molecular IVD design, development, and validation. Currently, they serve as the Head of Assay Development at LEX Diagnostics, following their role as Head of Biological NPI. Previously, Allyson worked as a Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge from 2006 to 2018 and held the position of Director of Research & Development at Diagnostics for the Real World Ltd from 2018 to 2023. Allyson is pursuing a B.Sc in Zoology and a Ph.D in Developmental Biology at The University of Dundee, alongside a Master’s degree in Environmental Biology, Maths & Statistics with distinction from the University of St. Andrews.
