Patsy McDonald

Patsy McDonald is currently serving as the Senior Director, Biology at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Patsy has a strong background in G protein coupled receptors (GPCRs), with a focus on their role in CNS and metabolic disorders as well as cancer. Patsy's extensive experience includes positions at Cadw Therapeutics LLC, Moffitt Cancer Center, Scripps Research, Eli Lilly & Co, and Dupont Pharmaceuticals. With a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Duke University, Patsy's expertise lies in drug discovery, assay development, lead identification, and optimization in the field of GPCRs.
