Alex Bratton

Alex Bratton has over 20 years of experience in the tech industry. Alex is currently the CEO & Chief Geek at LexGo Work, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they were the CEO & Chief Geek at Lextech Global Services from 2001 to 2020, where they developed 'serious apps' for mobile and web platforms. Alex was also an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Northern Illinois University from 2014 to 2020. From 2012 to 2020, they were a Computer Science Advisory Board Member at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Engagement Committee Chair of the Illini Leadership Council. From 2008 to 2012, they were the Chief Geek at LexRay. During this time, they provided guidance to the head of the CS department at Lewis University. Alex was also a Mentor at The Founder Institute from 2012 to 2020. From 2001 to 2008, they were the Founder & CTO at EmailRx, where they architected technology for an email spam and anti-virus managed service provider. Alex was also the Founder & CEO of The Net Squad from 1999 to 2001, and the eBusiness Practice Manager at BALR from 1998 to 1999.

Alex Bratton attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Alex then attended Second City Chicago from 1998 to 1999, studying Comedy Improvisation.
