Aric Roush has been working in the technology industry since 2000. Aric began their career at the Office of Emergency Management & Communications, City of Chicago as the Director of Information Services, where they implemented the first City of Chicago Next Generation (NG) 9-1-1 Initiative, authored the documentation and workflows for the next phase of Chicago's NG 9-1-1, and managed the development and implementation of new CAD software and hardware for the Chicago Fire Department mobile data terminals. Aric then served as the GIS Manager, where they authored the technical requirements document for the City of Chicago's High-rise Emergency Evacuation Ordinance and coordinated with third party vendors to develop and implement a database solution. In 1998, they became a Senior Consultant at SDI Presence, where they worked on various projects for ComEd and the City of Chicago utilizing various GIS packages. In 2011, they became an Independent Consultant, where they evaluated several facilities for suitability for an international communications command and control center in the Dominican Republic and provided technical consulting on a large scale camera implementation project. Aric also began working at Lextech Global Services as the Vice President of Solution Delivery, Director of Technology Operations, and Program Manager, where they implemented IT department processes, worked with vendors to plan and implement technology, created and implemented IT policies, proposed and implemented a methodology for application support, managed day to day operations of application development, and provided executive leadership for the client.
Aric Roush attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Geography.
