Pedro Sobral

Pedro Sobral is the Presidente of the Associação Portuguesa de Editores e Livreiros (APEL) since 2021, having served as Vice Presidente from 2019 to 2021. They are currently an Executive Board Member and Chief Publishing Officer at Grupo Leya, where they have been actively engaged since 2022, following their role as General Manager of the Publishing Division from 2015 to 2022. With a diverse background in management and marketing, Pedro also held managerial positions at Altran and Almedina S.G.P.S. Additionally, they hold degrees in Economics and Political Science and Government from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, along with a GMP in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
