Matt Rutkowski is currently the Chair of the LF AI & Data ML Security Committee and a contributor to various open source projects, including the OWASP CycloneDX SBOM standard and Apache OpenWhisk, where they served as a past chair and committer. They hold a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from The Ohio State University and have been involved with the DMTF as a founder and chair of the Cloud Audit Data Federation Working Group. With over 65 worldwide patents attributed to their work at IBM, Matt focuses on integrating security standards into the open source software supply chain and has been instrumental in advancing cloud native technologies and serverless computing.
