Luis Chen

Luis Chen is an experienced professional with a diverse background in account management and engineering within the HVAC and electronics industries. Since September 2016, Luis has served as an Account Manager at Trane, focusing on promoting and selling HVAC products to distributors in Panama and Jamaica, while building lasting business relationships. Previously, at LG Electronics from September 2011, Luis held multiple roles including Team Leader and Service Engineer for various product lines across multiple Central American and Caribbean countries. Responsibilities included leading technical support engineers, providing training, and developing technical training materials. Luis began the career as a Design Engineer at COPANAC, S.A., where responsibilities included coordinating inspections and performing thermal load calculations. Academically, Luis holds a Master’s degree in Management Engineering from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá.
