Peter Song

Peter Song is an accomplished engineer and executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor and technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President at LG Electronics since 2011, Peter focuses on innovation in smart mobile, automotive, and IoT devices. Previously, Peter owned Memory Logics LLC, providing architecture and patent consulting for prominent clients such as nVIDIA and Samsung Electronics. A former architect at Sun Microsystems, Peter developed micro-architecture for processors and held leadership roles in founding companies like Montalvo Systems and MemoryLogix, where multi-core and synthesizable processors were developed. Early career experience includes significant contributions at Samsung Semiconductor, IBM, and AMD, as well as scholarly work at Micro Design Resources. Peter holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
