Michael Stringer

Michael Stringer has a robust background in communications and media relations, currently serving as National Secretary at LGcomms since April 2024 and holding the position of Assistant Director of Communications & Engagement at Surrey County Council since September 2019. Prior roles include Senior Strategy & Communications Manager and Policy & Communications Manager at the London Borough of Lambeth, as well as a Senior Parliamentary Assistant at the House of Commons. Michael's early career featured news reporting for Tindle Newspapers Ltd. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Bristol and a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Sunderland.
