Mike Pendleton

Mike Pendleton is a Principal Engineer at LG&E and KU Energy LLC, where responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Transmission Operations, preparing NERC Reliability Standard Audit Worksheets, serving as a subject matter expert for audits, and maintaining the Transmission Outage Application. Additionally, Mike develops processes and training to uphold compliance with NERC standards while keeping training simulations updated for system operators. Prior to this role, Mike worked as a Senior Research Engineer at Remington Arms Company for over 16 years. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville, completed between 1992 and 1996, and also attended Elizabethtown Community and Technical College from 1991 to 1992.
