Will McDowell

Will McDowell, CEcD, is a seasoned economic development professional with extensive experience in managing industrial projects and programs. Currently serving as Economic Development Project Manager at LG&E and KU Energy LLC since January 2019, McDowell previously held roles including Project Manager at Triangle Enterprises and Vice President of Economic Development at Paducah Economic Development. From November 2012 to April 2015, McDowell worked as Industrial Development Manager at the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, where leadership of the Request for Proposal team contributed to over $620 million in economic announcements and the creation of Kentucky's first industrial site certification program. Earlier career experiences also include a role as Marketing Specialist and Commercial Real Estate Analyst at Silvestri-Craig Realtors. McDowell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance, and Marketing from the University of Evansville and completed a Business Leadership program at Harlaxton College in 2008.
