Mark Benstead is the Chair of Active Strategies at L&G Asset Management, a position held since 2024. They have extensive experience in finance, having served as Head of European DCM at the Royal Bank of Canada from 1997 to 2007 and as Head of Credit UK at AXA Investment Managers from 2007 to 2014. Mark is also a Trustee and Chair of the Finance Committee for the Thalidomide Trust since 2015.
