Christopher Greenwald has extensive work experience in the field of sustainable investment and research. Christopher is currently working as the Head of Sustainable Investment at LGT Private Banking since 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at UBS, including Head of Sustainable Investment Research & Specialists, UBS Asset Management from May 2021 to December 2021, and Head of Sustainable Investment Research from February 2017 to April 2021. Before joining UBS, they worked at RobecoSAM as the Head of Sustainability Investing Research from April 2013 to January 2017 and as the Head of Sustainability Application and Operations from February 2011 to April 2013. Christopher also served as the Director of ESG Data Content at ASSET4 - Thomson Reuters from September 2007 to February 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Sustainable Investment Analyst at Dr. Hoeller Asset Management and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago. Christopher started their professional journey as an Admissions Officer / Recruiter at Carleton College.

Christopher Greenwald received their B.A. in Philosophy and Social Sciences from Carleton College in 1992. Christopher then pursued an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science at Duke University from 1993 to 2001. In 2005, they obtained an MBA from HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne. In 2006, they received a FAME Certificate in Finance from the Swiss Finance Institute.
