Michele Luongo has extensive experience in operational risk management, currently serving as a Senior Risk Specialist at LGT Private Banking since February 2025, following a tenure as Head of Operational Risk at Raiffeisen Gruppe from October 2021 to February 2025. Prior to this, Michele held the position of Head of Operational Risk at Vontobel, also serving as Executive Director, from April 2017 to October 2021, and worked as an IT Auditor at Ernst & Young from September 2004 to May 2007. Academically, Michele earned a Master of Science in Wirtschaftsinformatik, magna cum laude, and an Executive MBA in General Management, summa cum laude, from Universität Zürich, along with further qualifications in negotiation and innovation management from Yale School of Management and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Banking from Universität Bern.
