Simon Weiss

Simon Weiss, CFA has over 16 years of experience in the finance industry. Simon started their career as an intern at UBS Investment Bank in 2005. In 2008, they joined Credit Suisse as an Equity Research Analyst and later transitioned to Mid Market Investment Banking. In 2012, they took on the role of Investor Relations Manager at Helvetia Versicherungen Schweiz. Currently, they are the Head of Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities Strategy at LGT Private Banking, where they previously served as a Senior Fixed Income Strategist and Senior Equity Research Analyst.

Simon Weiss, CFA holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from the University of Basel, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. Simon then pursued a Master of Science in Business and Economics from the same institution, specializing in Finance, Controlling, and Banking from 2005 to 2008. In 2006, they also completed a one-year SILS Program in International Liberal Studies at Waseda University. Simon Weiss became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder in 2015 after passing Level III of the CFA Program at the CFA Institute.
