Mike Smith

Mike Smith is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at GSA Global since March 2020, Mike utilizes deep security insights in advising on both public and private sector resilience. As a Consultant at LHH since April 2007, Mike guides senior executives in identifying and transitioning to fulfilling roles. Previously, as Chairman of OfficePOD from 2014 to 2024, Mike oversaw the production of modular offices for notable clients like the BBC and Google. Mike has held CEO positions at Interdean Interconex and Allibert, as well as key roles at Semple Cochrane Plc, Fletcher Challenge, Scottish Power Plc, and Thorn EMI, showcasing a strong track record in executive leadership and strategic management. Mike earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management from The University of Manchester between 1980 and 1982.
