Can Akin

Can Akin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2007, they started as a Student Trainee at Collogia IT Services GmbH. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Junior Consultant at Rödl & Partner GbR Public Management Consulting. In 2012, they joined KPMG as part of their Transaction Services team, and they stayed there until 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at SCHICKLER Media Consultants as a Senior Consultant, specializing in process efficiency. In 2016, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Cargonexx GmbH, a position they held until 2019. In 2019, they co-founded Yland GmbH and served as a Co-Founder until 2020. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Lhotse, where they are focused on reinventing tactical spend management and building a procurement SaaS.

Can Akin completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Capital Markets and Finance from Bahcesehir University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Controlling, M&A from Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln, from 2009 to 2011. In 2009, they also engaged in a Study Abroad program at the University of Newcastle, focusing on Political Sciences and Corporate Finance.
