Walter Farag

Walter Farag, CPA, CA, CFA has extensive work experience in finance, taxation, and treasury roles. Walter is currently serving as the Vice President, Treasurer at Li-Cycle since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Corporate Treasurer at Dundee Precious Metals Inc. from 2017 to 2022. Walter also held the position of Vice President, Treasury & Taxation at Sunwing from 2015 to 2017.

Walter has also gained experience at Votorantim/St. Marys Cement, where they served as the Vice President, Treasury & Taxation from 2013 to 2015, and as the Director, Treasury & Taxation from 2009 to 2013. Walter started their career at Citibank Canada as the Vice President & Director, Structured Products from 1996 to 2009. Prior to this, they worked at RBC Capital Markets as an Associate in Fixed Income Capital Markets from 1992 to 1996, and at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Accountant / Tax Specialist from 1988 to 1992.

Walter Farag, CPA, CA, CFA obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the University of Toronto. Additionally, they achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in the years 1997 to 2000.
