Pierre Boivin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Pierre started their career in 2004 as a Programmer at the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec, where they worked until 2006. During this time, they also had a role as a Systems Analyst at the Centre d'aide et d'action bénévole de Charlesbourg. In 2005, they joined the Université Laval as an Integrator/Developer Web.

In 2006, Pierre became self-employed as a Web Programmer while also working as a Programmer/Integrator at Infoglobe, a company specializing in IT projects. Pierre continued at Infoglobe until 2013, progressing to the role of Deputy Director of Information Technology.

In 2013, Pierre joined Libéo as a Programmer, eventually becoming an Architecte de solutions. Pierre then worked as an Analyste de solutions & Lead Backend at Libéo before being promoted to Deputy Director of Information Technology. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Technology at the company.

Pierre Boivin has a diverse education history in the field of computer science. Pierre earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Université Laval, which they pursued from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in the same field from Université Laval, completing their studies from 2005 to 2007.

To enhance their skills and expertise, Pierre also obtained additional certifications. Pierre became certified in TYPO3 CMS (Content Management System) Integration by the TYPO3 Association in January 2010. Pierre also obtained a Zend Certified Engineer PHP certification from Zend by Rogue Wave Software in December 2008.

Furthermore, Pierre pursued a short-term certification in Perfectionnement, Accessibilité from Université de Montréal in 2011. Additionally, in the earlier years of their education, they studied Computer Science at Cégep Limoilou - Campus Québec from 2002 to 2005, earning a Bas degree.
