Simon Murphy

Simon Murphy has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as CFO for Clydesdale Financial Services Limited since November 2007 at Barclays, where other roles have included Managing Director for Barclays UK and Chief Financial Officer for Barclaycard Payments. Simon has a strong background in business banking, consumer banking, transaction banking, and financial reporting, with progressive responsibilities including planning and analysis. In addition, Simon holds a position as Non Executive Director at Liberis since January 2022 and previously worked as a Management Accountant at Ibstock Brick Ltd from January 2002 to October 2007. Simon earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA hons) in History from De Montfort University between 1997 and 2000.
