Wil Eager has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies.

Wil started their career at Standard Chartered Bank as a Precious Metals Trading Assistant, where they focused on accurately booking trades and managing risk. Wil also worked as a Financial Markets Intern, contributing to the development of the in-house trade booking system.

Wil then joined BNP Paribas, where they held various roles. As an FX Options Pricing & Risk Management Developer, they worked on pricing the entire FX Option position and implemented a new risk viewing tool. Later, as the FX Options Risk Management Dev Team Lead, they led a team of developers and managed a project to migrate global trading desks to a new risk management tool. Wil also contributed to various improvements, such as implementing intraday PnL explain and assisting with the migration from database deal loading.

Wil then moved on to Checkout.com as a Software Engineer II. During their tenure, they automated multiple due diligence checks, specified and implemented an internal library for URL validation, and worked on the integration of various AWS services for a new check. Wil also migrated from Basic to OAuth2 authentication for an external provider endpoint and collaborated with the product team on moving to a new provider for one of the checks.
