Lan Cao

A Chinese national, Lan Cao, AGE, joined the Libra Group in 2011 and acts as the main liaison for commercial activities and relationships throughout China. In recent years Libra has made significant investments in China, including over 25 modern, fuel-efficient new container ships and bulk carriers from Chinese shipyards as well as the hospitality sector.

Lan’s career before Libra was in corporate banking and investment banking, with Bank of the West and Bank of China International. Her higher education took place in the United States, at the University of Texas and then the New York University Stern Business School where she received her MBA in Finance.
