Eric began their career in the United States Army/Illinois National Guard, where they served in various capacities, including as a Military Intelligence Specialist and Military Police Specialist. After leaving the military, Eric worked as the President/Owner of a successful executive search and recruiting firm, TE Inc., where they handled day-to-day operations, staff hiring and training, and client management.
Eric's career then transitioned into the public sector, where they held multiple positions of influence. Eric served as a Senior Policy Advisor for the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Illinois, where they were involved in shaping policy and legislation, as well as engaging with state and federal legislators. Following this, Eric served as the President/Executive Director of Operation Homefront Illinois, a non-profit organization, where they implemented effective strategies to raise over $350,000 in donations within six months and extensively utilized traditional media outlets for publicity.
Eric's work experience also includes their role as the Acting Executive Director of Kup's Purple Heart Foundation, where they organized an annual veterans' cruise and coordinated media activities to generate extensive coverage across television, radio, and print. Eric also served as the Director of Government and Community Affairs for Libra Solutions, managing legislative and regulatory efforts nationwide and introducing legislation in several states.
Additionally, Eric has demonstrated their commitment to social causes by serving as an Advisory Board Member for the After the Impact Fund, a nonprofit organization, and as an Advisory Board Member for the Dispute Financing Library of the Center on Civil Justice at New York University School of Law.
Most recently, Eric assumed the position of President for The Alliance for Responsible Consumer Legal Funding (ARC), where they lead a diverse coalition dedicated to preserving consumer legal funding as an option for individuals facing economic loss due to accidents and pending legal claims.
