Steve Hermes

Steve Hermes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in financial management and nonprofit governance. Currently serving as Board Member and Treasurer for San Diego Children's Discovery Museum and as a member of the Board of Trustees for Library Foundation SD, Steve also holds the position of Audit Committee Chair at Alzheimer's San Diego. Furthermore, Steve is a Board Member at Guide Dogs of America and previously co-founded Mission Edge San Diego. Steve's academic contributions include teaching roles at both the University of California San Diego - Extension and the University of San Diego. A former Attest Services Director at Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C., Steve also served as Board Chair for the Alzheimer's Association - San Diego/Imperial. Steve holds an MBA in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics from Illinois College.
