Moni Barrette is an award-winning librarian, educator, author, and entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in nonprofit business management and library services. They served as a Senior Librarian at Escondido Public Library from 2015 to 2019 and were the Principal Librarian at Chula Vista Public Library for the year 2019 to 2020. Currently, Moni co-founded Creators Assemble in 2020, where they support libraries and educators, and serves as the Director of Collection Development at LibraryPass. Moni also teaches as an Adjunct Faculty member at San Diego State University from 2022 to 2024, after earning a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University in 2010.
