Abby Blachly

Abby Blachly has held a variety of positions in the library and archives field since 2002. Abby began their career as a Production Assistant at Houghton Mifflin Co. in 2002. In 2004, they worked as an Archives Assistant at Simmons College Archives and as an Archivist at Wheelock College Library. In 2005, they served as an Indexer/Cataloger at Genzyme Corporation. Since 2006, they have been the Head Librarian at LibraryThing.

Abby Blachly has a diverse educational background. Abby received their Master of Arts in Theirtory from Simmons University in 2004, and also earned a Master of Library Science with a concentration in archives from Simmons University in 2004. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and Sociology from Mount Holyoke College in 2002.
