Jennifer Mitchell began their work experience as a Client Services Intern at King James in July 2015. Jennifer then worked as a Tutor at the University of Cape Town from July 2015 to November 2015. In January 2015, they became a Project Manager at UCT Marketing Association, where they organized various marketing events for students until November 2015. Beginning in January 2016, Jennifer worked as an Au Pair in the U.S. for Go Au Pair until February 2018. In March 2018, they briefly served as a Data Consultant at Prodigy Finance. Later in October 2018, Jennifer joined Connectica LLC as a Search Engine Optimization Copywriter and remained in that role until May 2022. Currently, they are employed at Libryo, where they started as a Customer Success member in May 2018 and now holds the position of Customer Experience Manager since February 2021.

Jennifer Mitchell completed their high school education at Rustenburg Girls' High School, from 2006 to 2010, earning a Matric Certificate. Jennifer then went on to attend the University of Cape Town, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Science (B.BusSci) degree in Marketing from 2011 to 2015.
