Ryan Poon

Ryan Poon, Ph.D., is currently the Solid State Group Manager at LiCAP Technologies, Inc., where they lead research and development on sulfide-based solid-state batteries. With extensive experience in high-performance cathode formulation and various cell fabrication techniques, they previously worked as an R&D Scientist/Engineer at MesoMat, improving nanomaterial synthesis for strain sensors. Ryan earned their Bachelor of Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Engineering from McMaster University, where they developed advanced nanocomposite electrodes and characterized energy materials.
