Emre Güzer has had a long and varied career in the payment and e-commerce industries. Emre began their career in 2001 as a Customer Services employee at Pamukbank. In 2002, they moved to Assistline A.Ş. as a Project Manager. In 2004, they joined Garanti Bank as an E-Commerce/Payment Business Development Manager. In 2005, they became the E-Commerce Manager at Hedef Alliance Holding. In 2007, they were the E-Commerce/Payment Development Manager at Teknoloji Holding. In 2008, they were the Head of E-Commerce & Online Payment at Garanti Payment Systems. In 2011, they joined PayU as a Board Member & Interim CEO Turkey, Co-Founder & CEO & Board Member, and Head of Middle East & Global Product Strategy for EMEA&LATAM. In 2015, they founded and became a Board Member of the Payment & E-Money Association (ODED). In 2019, they became a Board Member & Chief Executive Officer at Mobilexpress (a Lidio company). Emre is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Lidio.
Emre Güzer attended Anadolu University from 1998 to 2002, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Emre then completed a Master in Management Information Systems, General from Yesevi (MIS - Master Program) from 2007 to 2009. In 2011 and 2012, they attended Harvard Business School for the Naspers Executive Program. From 2013 to 2014, they attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München for Competitive Strategy. Finally, from 2015 to 2016, they attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business for Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills.
