Alexander Igelmann

Alexander Igelmann's work experience is as follows:

Alexander is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of LIDROTEC, where they focus on building laser dicing machines for the semiconductor industry. These machines have a unique innovation: they use liquids to cool and rinse wafers while cutting them with lasers, resulting in thinner cuts with a 0% damage rate. This cutting-edge technology helps users save costs and increases output.

Before founding LIDROTEC, Alexander worked as a Client Relationship Manager at Goldman Sachs from August 2017 to July 2019. Prior to that, they served as an Account Associate at PIMCO from August 2014 to June 2017. Alexander also had a brief stint as part of the Global Wealth Management team at PIMCO for two months in 2013.

In addition, Alexander has experience in Investor Relations at Volkswagen AG from March 2012 to August 2012, and in FX Sales at Barclays Investment Bank from June 2011 to September 2011. Alexander also worked in Investment Banking roles at UBS from June 2010 to August 2010 and at Monitor Group from June 2009 to August 2009.

Alexander Igelmann completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management between 2008 and 2012. In 2010, they also participated in an exchange semester at Università Bocconi, where they studied Economics.

Later, from 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree with a focus on Finance & Economics at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. During their Master's program, they also engaged in an exchange semester at the University of Deusto, specializing in International Finance for the duration of 2013.

Currently, Alexander Igelmann is involved in their doctoral studies. Alexander is pursuing a PhD degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at RWTH Aachen University, with an expected completion date in 2024.
