Alexander Kanitz has a diverse work experience. Alexander is currently a Co-Founder at LIDROTEC, where they are responsible for research, product development, and technical sales. Previously, they worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and as a Student Research Assistant, where they focused on high power impulse magnetron sputtering (HiPIMS) and tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) for measuring and evaluating Argon metastables. Alexander also had a brief internship at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Furthermore, they worked as a Research Assistant and a Student Research Assistant at Universidad Politénica de Madrid, contributing to research projects. Additionally, they gained experience as a Student Research Assistant at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, working on atmospheric pressure plasma jets, and as an Assistant au foyer at L'Arche Internationale.

Alexander Kanitz received their Master's degree in Physics (M.Sc.) from Ruhr University Bochum, where they studied from 2008 to 2014. In addition, they also studied at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2011 to 2012, earning another Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics.
