LAM aims to design programmes that enable the individual to become self aware, which enables them to know the skills and talents they have, to better apply or link them to any career option of choice. These programmes make available sufficient information to participants to make decisions about what is next in their lives for them. These next steps may include studying further, starting one’s own business or joining the world of work through internships, jobs or volunteering. For those already out of school, unemployed or do not qualify to further their education, LAM will introduce programmes to enrich them with skills leading to employment or encourage them to create employment through starting new ventures as entrepreneurs.
