Adrian Oliver

Associate Director of Technology Development

Adrian Pickar Oliver, Ph.D., is currently the Associate Director of Technology Development at Life Edit Therapeutics, where they develop CRISPR-based genome engineering tools and explore novel therapeutic strategies for genetic disorders. They completed their PhD in Infectious Diseases at the University of Georgia, focusing on the phosphoprotein of the mumps virus to help develop vaccine candidates. Prior to their current role, Adrian worked as a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at Duke University and served as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at UGA. Their early research experience includes an undergraduate position at the University of Richmond and an internship at the US Department of Defense.
