The Life Sciences Acceleration Alliance e.V. (LSAA) is a coalition of investors, corporate leaders, and scientific experts dedicated to strengthening Europe’s life sciences ecosystem. We provide a unique and essential voice that bridges venture capital, healthcare, and policy — ensuring that innovation, commercialization, and patient benefit remain at the core of Europe’s competitiveness in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

With strong connections across the EU, LSAA advocates for the interests of patients, companies, and investors. We emphasize the critical role of venture capital in turning breakthrough research into life-changing treatments and actively support regulatory reforms that enable research, funding, and sustainable growth.

Backed by a Board of Directors and an Advisory Council gathering key industry leaders, LSAA connects the investment community with policymakers to accelerate medical innovation and ensure Europe remains a driving force in global biopharmaceutical development. We complement existing organizations by offering a unique perspective that combines financial expertise with deep healthcare insight.

At a time of unprecedented scientific progress — from cell and gene therapies to immuno-oncology and digital health — LSAA is committed to building a collaborative ecosystem that identifies, enables, and accelerates innovation. Our goal is clear: to make Europe a leader in life sciences and to ensure that patients everywhere gain timely access to breakthrough treatments and cures.
