Aya H.

Aya H. is a dedicated student at Georgia Institute of Technology, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Currently, they volunteer at DaVita Kidney Care, providing support in a clinical dialysis setting, and intern at Regeneron, assisting in pharmaceutical R&D workflows. Aya also founded Project Rahma under the US Partnership for African Development, focusing on digital education equity in underserved schools in Africa. With experience as a swim instructor, lifeguard, and coach at Life Time Inc. and previously at SafeSplash Swim Schools, Aya has developed strong leadership and communication skills, recognized for achievements such as multiple Employee of the Month awards. Aya has designed assistive technology for special education in Loudoun County Public Schools and contributed to environmental research on sustainable energy solutions.
