Chris Claxton is an experienced professional in project management and scientific research, currently serving as a Chronic Respiratory Infection Translational Challenge Portfolio Manager and Principal Project Manager at LifeArc since October 2021. With a strong background in diagnostics, Chris has previously held roles as a Senior Project Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing diagnostics portfolio projects and ensuring compliance with internal policies and ISO 13485 regulations. Prior to LifeArc, Chris worked at Quotient as a Project Manager and Senior Development Scientist, where expertise was applied to the development of disease screening products. Earlier career experiences include working as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Molecular Medicine, MRC, and roles at Merck and Quintiles specializing in DMPK and bioanalytical science. Chris holds a BSc in Biochemistry from UCL and an MSc in Drug Design and Biomedical Science from Edinburgh Napier University.
