Ciara McDonnell, PhD, is an accomplished professional in the field of biomedical sciences and technology transfer. Currently serving as a Licensing & Ventures Manager at Oxford University Innovation and a LifeArc AUTM Technology Transfer Fellow, Ciara is actively engaged in technology commercialization and innovation management. Ciara is also a participant in the RisingWISE 2025 programme at the University of Oxford, aimed at empowering women in STEM. Previously, Ciara completed a PhD in Precision Medicine at the University of Edinburgh, where additional roles included facilitator and demonstrator for undergraduate courses, as well as internships in intellectual property management and technology transfer. Ciara's academic background is further solidified with degrees in Systems & Synthetic Biology and Biomedical Science.
