Curtis Asante

Curtis Asante is an experienced professional in the field of biomedical research and management, currently serving as the Alliance Manager for Childhood Cancer at LifeArc since May 2024. Prior roles include Associate Director of Engagement and Insight, as well as Associate Director of Members' Programmes at the Microbiology Society from October 2020 to April 2024. Previous experience at Cancer Research UK involved leadership as Co-Chair of the Race Equality and Equity Network and as Research Programme Manager (Infrastructure). Curtis also held project management positions at King's College London and editorial responsibilities at Nature Research, specializing in neuroscience. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Neuropharmacology from UCL and an MPharmacol in Pharmacology from the University of Bath.
