Stefan Mićić

Stefan Mićić has worked in the field of Machine Learning and Big Data since 2018. In 2020, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at SmartCat.io, where they trained detectors to detect people and assets on real-time video using YOLOv4. In 2021, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at HTEC Group, where they led less experienced engineers to develop models for Covid test detection and classification. Stefan also worked as a Product Owner at Studio G, where they were responsible for getting requirements from the Client and creating technical requirements for developers. Currently, they work as an MLOps Engineer at Lifebit, where they optimize already trained Deep Learning models and reduces cost and latency using ONNX, Quantization, and different EC2 instances. Stefan also automates model evaluation and deployment using AWS, Valohai, and GitHub Actions. Stefan is also currently working as an MLOps, ML & Big Data at Toptal.

Stefan Mićić obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming from the Faculty of Technical Sciences at the University of Novi Sad in 2020. Stefan then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the same university, which they are expected to complete by 2021. Additionally, Stefan is expected to obtain an AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2022.
