Xing Lu

Xing Lu is an accomplished data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and architecture. Currently serving as the Data Engineering Lead at LifeByte Systems since December 2024, Xing oversees the entire Data Platform within the TMGM group. Prior roles include Data Solution Architect at Strata Community Insurance and Senior Manager/Data Engineer at Commonwealth Bank. With a strong background in data management, roles have also included Senior Manager at Macquarie Group, Data Science Manager and Senior Analyst/Big Data Development Lead at Commonwealth Bank, and Group Data Manager at Lonsec. Early in the career, positions included Data Scientist and Database Developer at Groupon Australia. Xing holds a Master of Computer Science in Evolutionary Computing from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Computer Science from East China University of Science and Technology.
