Lifefabs Institute is an interdisciplinary biofabrication lab & community research centre, bringing impactful research to life.


The Lifefabs BSL 1 co-lab space is an open-access collaborative playground, providing creatives, scientists and communities access to research facilities, while facilitating organic exchanges of knowledge and ideas. 

We want everyone to be able to contribute to the field of scientific discovery and provide researchers access to state-of-the art facilities. Establishing alternative production models we support and provide a hub for researchers to invent, build and scale-up their projects across biodesign, healthcare, nature, science education and biotechnology.

Our mission is to provide an accessible research hub for all to bring high-impact bioscience research to life.
