Before joining Keen Eye, Soizic worked at EDF as a Software Engineer/Developer from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they were employed at CEA from 2009 to 2013 as a Software Engineer/Developer, where they contributed to the design and development of an application for seamless exploitation by researchers. Soizic also integrated it into an existing neuroimaging platform.

Soizic started their career at EDF R&D in 2009 as a Developer for a brief period. Before that, they were a part of Siemens Corporate Research as an R&D Engineer from 2008 to 2009. Soizic'searliest documented work experience was as a PhD Student at LTSI INSERM/Université de Rennes 1 from 2004 to 2007, where they completed their PhD thesis on 3D + time tracking of coronary arteries on CT scans. Additionally, they have over 300 hours of teaching experience at the university level.

Soizic Laguitton obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Signal Processing from IFSIC Université de Rennes 1 in the years 2001 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Master of Research (DEA) in Signal Processing and Telecommunications at Université de Rennes I from 2003 to 2004. Soizic then completed their Doctorate in Image Processing at Université de Rennes I from 2004 to 2007.
