Brian Chan

Brian Chan is currently the Chief Software Architect at Liferay. Prior to that, they were a Senior Sales Engineer at Cloud Elements from July 2016 to August 2017. Before that, they were a Sales Engineer at Cloud Elements from June 2015 to May 2016. Brian was also a Sales Engineer at Thismoment, Inc from July 2013 to May 2015. At Thismoment, Inc, they provided technical demonstrations and presentations of Thismoment content marketing system for pre-sales and post-sales activity. Brian also developed and conducted product implementation strategies for new cloud-based content management platform, Content Cloud in support of customer proposals and RFPs. In addition, they provided solutions consulting for various companies including; Microsoft, Wells Fargo, Sony, Google, Facebook, Amazon, Starbucks, Frito-Lay, Sephora, Disney, Medtronic, and Motorola. Brian also supported and trained customers for campaign development and utilization as a member of Thismoment’s API developer network. Furthermore, they collaborated with partnerships and product team to conduct and evaluate partnership integrations to increase product value and opportunities. Lastly, they developed and wrote project scope documentation for customer contracts and Customer success team. Outside of work, they were a fun committee member responsible for cultivating company culture through weekly and monthly events.

Brian Chan has a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and is certified in Salesforce from Salesforce Certified Administrator.

Brian Chan reports to Bryan Cheung, CEO. They are on a team with Caris Chan - Chief Administrative Officer, Brian Kim - COO, and JC Choi - CFO.
