Kate Zhao

Kate Zhao has a comprehensive work experience in various fields. Kate worked as a Junior Business Analyst at Lifescience Dynamics Limited starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Research Associate at Seer from August 2021 to December 2022. From September 2020 to May 2021, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Kumar Lab under the Department of Bioengineering at UC Berkeley. Kate also gained experience as a Research Assistant at the Pessah Lab in the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis, from March 2018 to June 2020. In 2017, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at the New Oriental Education & Technology Group, and in 2016, they completed an internship at the Department of Health Quarantine, Entry & Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.

Kate Zhao earned a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology from 2016 to 2020. Kate also graduated from Malvern College Qingdao in 2016 with a High School Diploma. In addition to their formal education, Kate has obtained several certifications, including "Data Science: Bridging Principles and Practice" from Emeritus in November 2022, "Business Metrics for Data-Driven Companies" from Coursera in August 2022, and "Mastering Data Analysis in Excel" from Coursera in August 2022.
