David Sorensen

VP, Content Strategy at lifescript

This is David’s second tour with Everyday Health, and he is excited to be back and involved in health once again. In his current role as vice president of content strategy, David focuses on elevating the quality of the health and wellness experience across all channels and mediums. To help deliver the best content with the best user experience, he taps into his 20-plus years of experience and insights.

David started his career in high-tech product marketing, then transitioned into consumer medical and health content publishing at the startup MedicineNet, which was acquired by WebMD, where he was senior director of network strategy. Recently, he was interim head of web at Pipedrive. He has a bachelor's degree in speech communication with a minor in marketing from California State University at Long Beach.

David lives in San Clemente, California, with his wife and two college-bound sons. For exercise, he enjoys taking his two energetic German shorthaired pointers on walks — though really they end up taking him on walks.
