Maura Corrigan

Maura is the editorial director of special projects and integrity, overseeing special projects and the copy desk, and working closely with the medical affairs team to ensure the accuracy of content. Prior to joining Everyday Health, Maura was a longtime writer, reporter, and fact-checker at Self magazine, worked as a health editor at About.com, and freelanced for a number of publications, including Women’s Health, MORE, Good Housekeeping, Time Out New York, and others. She began her career in publishing at Elle Decor and received a bachelor's degree in German and international studies from the University of Georgia in Athens. When she’s not in the office, Maura can be found practicing karate or her saxophone, surfing small waves, going to concerts, or listening to all kinds of music, quite often her favorite, Prince Rogers Nelson.
