Anne State has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of media and communications. Anne started their career in 2002 as an Anchor/Reporter at KNSD and worked there until 2008. Anne then joined WBBM | CBS Chicago as an Anchor/Reporter and worked there from 2008 to 2010.

From 2010 to 2014, they served as an Anchor for the 5 & 9 PM News at WITI - TV 6. Following that, they worked at KOIN-TV as an Anchor for the 5, 6, and 11 PM News from 2014 to 2015.

Anne State joined KGTV Channel 10 in 2015 and held the role of Anchor for the Emmy award-winning 4 PM newscast, "The Now." Anne helped launch the show, covered live breaking news, and excelled in writing attention-grabbing teases. During their time at KGTV Channel 10, they also hosted the annual "Month of a Million Meals" telethon.

Most recently, Anne State has worked at Lifesharing | A Donate Life Organization since 2018, holding the position of Director of Public Relations. In this role, they have been responsible for leading external media efforts, placing numerous stories in the news media and producing videos. Their work has reached millions of people and garnered significant earned media for the organization.
