Lifesong Kenya is a beacon of hope, healing and transformation for vulnerable boys in Kenya. For fourteen years, we have walked alongside boys who have been abandoned by their fathers, failed by systems and written off as trouble. When the world sees broken boys, we see future leaders, fathers and change-makers.

OUR MISSION

To be a beacon of hope, healing and transformation, where individuals can heal, regain their strength and rewrite the stories of their lives.

OUR VISION

We envision a Kenya where every boy, regardless of his background, has access to the love, guidance and opportunity he needs to become a purposeful, contributing man.

OUR THEORY OF CHANGE

We do not raise boys to be 'good men' as a side project. We raise them to be our primary strategy to prevent violence at its roots.

Broken Boy → Healed Boy → Healthy Man → Safe Community

A boy who is healed today does not become a man who harms tomorrow.

WHY BOYS?

70% of gender-based violence in Kenya is perpetrated by boys and men. Fatherlessness is the strongest predictor of male violence. We do not do this instead of supporting women and girls. We do it so that women and girls will not need rescue tomorrow.
